Brilliant engineering, slightly bulky execution
The motor unit weighs just half a pound and slips easily into a scrub pocket or fanny pack. The collection kit, however, is quite different from your average pump — instead of hard plastic, the Liquid Shields use frosted soft silicone that integrates the flange and duckbill valve into one continuous piece.
The collection bottles attached to your chest are rather large and stout, and the embossed (not printed) markings make them very hard to read in low light. The whole chest setup is top-heavy
Tip: You’ll need a very tight pumping bra to hold everything securely in place. Many moms also use a belt bag for the motor to free up their hands completely while moving around.
